Building iPhones with After Effects

Hey folks, it has been awhile since my last tutorial update here so I wanted to give you guys a heads up on what’s coming! Ever see those awesome and beautiful iPhone renders used in commercials these days? Yeah, they’re probably created using a 3D application, but we’re going to take a look at how to construct one entirely in After Effects in the upcoming tutorial.
Yep, we’re building one purely with After Effects. Of course there are different techniques to achieve the same thing, we’re going to be taking a look at a few options and I’ll also be throwing in some tips and alternatives if you want the final render to look photo realistic.
The hardest part will be extruding the darn thing and getting the curvature correct. The iPhone is a beautiful piece of hardware and not getting the body 99% right will definitely look awkward. We will be constructing the iPhone to where we can easily replace the content on the screen and add some glossy reflections. Stay tuned!
You are rocking dude, i just love your stuff, Keep it up ! 🙂
